What is a good liver count?

My recent blood test showed my liver count was a little off. My doctor just said to monitor it, but didn't specify much. What is considered a good liver count or range?

For liver health, keeping SGOT and SGPT counts below 40 units per liter is generally considered normal. As a diabetic, I have to be very careful because fatty liver is quite common with high blood sugar. Avoid high-fructose corn syrups and greasy foods to keep these counts in check.

Whenever I get my family's annual blood tests done at Apollo, the doctors explain that liver enzymes like SGPT should ideally be under 40. However, instead of guessing what your numbers mean, please schedule a proper consultation with your physician to understand the exact results.

Normal liver enzyme levels jaise SGPT and SGOT typically 40-50 ke neeche hone chahiye, haan. Par agar aapka report thoda upar-neeche hai, toh ghabraane ki baat nahi hai na. Ek baar simple ultrasound karwa lo, sab clear ho jayega.

In a standard liver function test, SGOT (AST) should be between 8 to 40 U/L and SGPT (ALT) between 7 to 56 U/L. If you see slightly elevated levels, it could be due to a temporary medication effect or diet. Keep hydrated and get it rechecked after consulting your doctor.

If your liver counts are screaming higher than a Bollywood high pitch note, it is time to say goodbye to those late-night samosas! Jokes apart, standard normal is under 40, but a quick visit to the doc will keep you and your liver smiling.

If you want to check your liver health, just book a basic Liver Function Test (LFT) online, it costs around 400 to 600 rupees at most labs. It's much cheaper to catch any elevation early and manage it with diet rather than paying for expensive specialist visits later.

Normal range typically 40 ke aaspaas hi hoti hai, haan na. Last month mere husband ka report bhi thoda high aaya tha par doctor ne mild fatty liver bola aur oily food band karne ko kaha. Aap bhi ek baar dikha lo doctor ko, simple hota hai sab.

My doctor told me that regular daily exercise like 30 minutes of brisk walking is highly effective in bringing down elevated liver counts. If your SGPT is slightly high, ask your doctor if you can start light cardio. It really helps burn liver fat.

Bro, don't stress too much if your liver count is just slightly above 40. Sometimes late-night junk food or simple stress can bump it up temporarily. Just eat clean, drink lots of water, and ask your doc to review the report.

Generally, keeping your SGPT and SGOT under 40-50 U/L is considered a healthy liver range.
