What is a good gmi for diabetics?

My doctor mentioned GMI during my last check-up for diabetes, and I'm a bit confused by all the new terms. What is considered a good GMI for diabetics? What does it even mean?

Normally GMI (Glycemic Measurement Indicator) agar 7% ke aaspaas ho toh accha maana jata hai, par har body alag hoti hai na. Mere doctor ne toh bola hai ki mere liye 6.8% perfect target hai. Aap ek baar apne doctor se confirm kar lo, haan?

I always drink warm water with a pinch of cinnamon powder in the morning, which is a great natural way to support blood sugar. However, if your GMI is showing very high trends like 8% or more, please see your doctor immediately instead of trying to fix it at home.

To keep your GMI in a healthy range, regular physical activity is key. I do a brisk 30-minute walk after dinner every day, which really helps manage glucose levels. Just make sure to get your doctor's go-ahead before starting any new fitness routine.

For maintaining a stable GMI, focusing on fiber-rich vegetarian meals is highly beneficial. Including things like millets, green leafy vegetables, and limiting white rice can show a big difference. Please discuss with a dietitian to create a personalized meal plan.

I tried drinking methi water and karela juice for months, but practical diet control is what actually worked to improve my GMI numbers. GMI around 6.5% to 7% is generally considered safe, but don't rely only on home tips—proper doctor-guided routine is a must.

Managing GMI when you are a total foodie is so tough! My doctor told me to keep my GMI below 7% which means I have to strictly limit my favorite sweets and parathas. I still have small portions occasionally, but keeping track of the numbers keeps me in check.
