What is a fever temperature in fahrenheit?

My little one is feeling a bit warm today and the thermometer reads in Fahrenheit. I'm not sure what number means it's a proper fever that I should be worried about. Can someone tell me what temperature is considered a fever?

I totally get it, checking the thermometer constantly can make you so anxious. Generally, 100.4°F is where the medical books say fever officially starts. Just try to lie down, drink lots of water, and don't stress too much about small fluctuations.

I literally just got over a bad viral fever last week. My temp was touching 101.5°F on day one, and the doctor said anything above 100.4°F needs medicine. Don't wait for it to touch 102°F before taking paracetamol, just ask your doc once.

Hey there! Usually, 98.6°F is the sweet spot for normal temp. Anything over 100°F is your body's way of fighting off bugs. 🌡️ Keep sipping some warm soup and you will be fine soon!

Any reading above 100°F is considered a fever. Please take rest and drink plenty of warm liquids. Hope you feel better very soon.

For kids and adults both, we say 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit is a fever. Keep a cold damp cloth on the forehead to keep the heat down naturally. Make sure they are hydrated with coconut water or ORS, that really helps.

Usually, 100.4°F is the fever mark. In my experience with blood pressure and general health, physical stress and lack of sleep can also make your body feel very warm. Keep monitoring it, rest well, and consult your physician if it persists.
