What is a fever for a 4 year old?

My 4-year-old son came home from school looking very tired and warm. I'm wondering what temperature should I consider a fever for him. What is a fever for a 4-year-old?

A fever for a 4-year-old is generally 100.4 F or higher. Don't worry, just keep them hydrated with lots of water and their favorite juices, and check with your pediatrician for the right medicine.

I always feel a bit anxious dealing with health issues, so I get the worry. For a 4-year-old, 100.4 F or above is considered a fever. Please consult your pediatrician to get the exact treatment plan rather than trying things at home.

A temperature of 100.4 F or higher is a fever for a 4-year-old. Even if it is just a mild fever, I highly recommend getting it checked by a doctor to find the root cause instead of waiting.

My 4-year-old nephew gets a fever—which is above 100.4 F—and completely stops eating his favorite parathas. Don't worry if they lose their appetite for a bit, just focus on liquids and get a doctor's advice.

It is so heartbreaking to see our little ones dull and burning with fever. For a 4-year-old, 100.4 F is considered a fever. I know how stressful this is, but please call your doctor, they will guide you and make it easier.

My elders usually suggest home remedies, but we always check with a digital thermometer first. If it crosses 100.4 F, that's a fever for a 4-year-old. We always trust our pediatrician's advice for the correct medicine.

With my 4-year-old, we consider anything above 100.4 F as a fever. We keep him in light clothes and monitor his activity levels. We always call our pediatrician before giving him any syrup.
