What is a fever for a 15 month old?

My 15-month-old is running a bit warm, and I need to know at what point it's considered an actual fever. What is the temperature threshold for a fever for a 15-month-old?

My 15-month-old had a fever of 101 F last week, and it was so stressful. Usually, 100.4 F and above is considered a fever. I kept giving him small sips of ORS and coconut water to prevent dehydration, but definitely check with your doctor for the dosage of medicine.

For a 15-month-old, 100.4 F on a digital thermometer is a fever. Don't worry too much, just sponge their forehead with normal tap water (not cold water) to help cool them down, and call your pediatrician for the right medicine.

When my little niece gets a fever, which is basically anything above 100.4 F, she completely stops eating her favorite apple puree. Don't force them to eat heavy meals right now, just focus on liquids and get the doctor to prescribe the right syrup.

A fever is generally 100.4 F or higher for a 15-month-old. During this time, light foods like thin khichdi or moong dal pani can be very soothing if they are willing to eat. But please consult your doctor first before trying any dietary changes or giving medicines.

Humare yahan toh doctor babu bolte hain ki agar thermometer me 100.4 F se upar dikhaye toh bacche ko bukhar hai. Aap bilkul ghabraiye mat, halka suti kapda pehnayein aur jald se jald doctor ko dikha lijiye.

Keep the baby's environment peaceful and well-ventilated, as rest is very healing. A temperature of 100.4 F or higher indicates a fever at 15 months. Gently keep track of their breathing and temperature, and let a qualified pediatrician guide you on the next steps.
