What induces vomiting in humans?

Sometimes I get this awful nausea and really need to throw up to feel better, especially after eating something bad. What things can actually induce vomiting in humans? Asking purely for information, not to try anything risky.

I agree with others, food poisoning or severe acidity is usually the main culprit. Drinking small sips of ginger water really helps soothe the stomach.

Sometimes our body just rejects toxins to clean itself, which is a natural process. Eat very light food, drink enough water, and rest well. May you feel better soon, take care.

For me, even looking at extra oily highway dhaba food is enough to induce vomiting these days! Severe gas, food poisoning, or just traveling on winding hill roads usually triggers it. Keep some Hajmola handy, it is a lifesaver.

Usually, indigestion, heatstroke, or stale food causes vomiting. In our times, we used to drink light lemon-salt water or chew on a piece of ginger to calm the stomach. But if it happens multiple times, you must show a doctor to prevent dehydration.

Bro, for me it is usually late-night junk food or too much acidity from skipping meals during exams. Drinking cold limca or having some curd-rice helps settle the stomach pretty quickly.

I get so scared of vomiting, even a little nausea makes me panic. It can be due to stress, migraines, or some stomach bug. Please drink ORS to stay hydrated, and if it doesn't stop, go to a clinic before you feel too weak.

In my experience, whenever I get severe migraine attacks or eat outside seafood that isn't fresh, I end up vomiting. I usually just rest in a dark room and wait for it to pass, but I avoid taking random medicines without asking a doc.
