What if fever comes back after antibiotics?

I had a fever a few days ago, and the doctor prescribed antibiotics. I finished the course, but the fever is back now. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

Oh no, that's not fun! 🥺 Sometimes it means the infection is a bit stubborn, or maybe it's a different type of infection. Best to tell your doctor right away so they can check properly. Hope you feel better soon! ✨

Dekho, fever coming back after antibiotics is not something to take lightly or try ghar ke nuskhe for. Antibiotics are serious medicine. If it's still there, you need to revisit the doctor. Don't rely on random advice here; your health is important.

Hmm, this happened to my cousin once. I think it means the antibiotics didn't fully clear it? Or maybe it's viral? Should we always go back to the same doctor, or can we get a second opinion?

Beta, if doctor's medicine didn't fully work, you must tell him. Sometimes body needs more help. Keep taking light food, rest properly. Maybe try some warm tulsi tea for comfort but for fever, doc knows best what to do. Don't delay.

Oh, this is why I always finish the full course even if I feel better. I heard if you stop early, the bacteria can become resistant. But if it comes back *after* the course, that's a different problem, right? Like, the medicine didn't work.

Mere saath bhi same hua tha last month! I finished my antibiotic course, fever went, then came back after 2 days. Doc said the first one wasn't strong enough for that specific bacteria. He gave me a different one and then it finally went. So definitely go back to your doctor.

Hey, don't worry too much, but definitely don't ignore it. It could mean the infection is still there, or maybe a different bug is causing trouble. Just call your doctor, they might want to change the antibiotic or do some more tests. Take care of yourself.

Ugh, the worst. Just when you think you're free! My body clearly doesn't understand the concept of 'finished'. Honestly, if the fever's back after those strong meds, it's straight to the doctor again. My brain cells can't handle this detective work when I'm sleepy.
