What hurts more giving birth or passing a kidney stone?

My sister is pregnant and terrified of childbirth pain, and my uncle just had a kidney stone which he said was excruciating. It got me thinking, what hurts more, giving birth or passing a kidney stone?

My wife says giving birth was tough, but my father had kidney stones and he said it was the worst pain he ever felt, even worse than a broken bone. The doctor said the pain is different; birth is like intense contractions, while stones are sharp, stabbing pain. Both are serious, so we always try to be healthy and prevent such things for our kids.

Haan ji, log kehte hain kidney stone ka dard bahut zyada hota hai, like it's unbearable for some men. Par delivery ka dard bhi bahut intense hota hai, na? Especially natural birth. I think dono hi apni jagah bahut tough hain, but different types of pain. Kisi ko bhi nahi hona chahiye, haan!

From what I've heard and read, both are intensely painful, but in different ways. Childbirth is often described as prolonged, immense pressure and contractions, while kidney stones cause very sharp, excruciating, wave-like pain. It depends on individual tolerance. This is a bit outside my area, but just like with thyroid issues, if you're experiencing severe pain, get it checked by a doctor quickly; don't self-diagnose.

As someone who has done the birth thing, I'll say that was pretty darn painful! But I've heard men who've had kidney stones say it's worse than childbirth. So, my honest opinion is probably whatever you're experiencing at that moment is the worst! 😂 Let's just agree pain sucks.

Ram Ram! Both are very big pains, beta. Women say delivery pain is like nothing else, but my neighbor's husband had kidney stone, and he was screaming so much. They say kidney stone pain comes suddenly and can be very very bad. Both are prayers that no one has to go through.

Okay, so biologically, both are considered extremely painful. Giving birth is intense, expansive pain, while kidney stone pain is often described as sharp, excruciating, and colicky. It really depends on the individual's pain threshold and the specific circumstances. Regular hydration and staying active can help prevent kidney stones, at least.

Oh, both are considered among the highest pain levels! Giving birth is intense and long-lasting, while kidney stone pain is often described as sharp, sudden, and unbearable, usually in the back or abdomen. I've tried home remedies for smaller issues, but for these kinds of severe pains, practical advice is always to seek immediate medical help. No remedy can match that pain.
