What herbs are good for asthma?

My asthma sometimes gets bad during season changes. I'm trying to explore natural ways to support my breathing. Are there any specific herbs that are good for asthma?

My doctor emphasized that while conventional medicine is primary for asthma, some herbs can provide adjunctive support. Turmeric and ginger have anti-inflammatory properties. Licorice root and Vasaka are also used in traditional medicine for respiratory issues, but dosage and interactions must be discussed with a pulmonologist.

As a foodie, I love incorporating healthy spices! For asthma, I've heard ginger and turmeric can be helpful because of their anti-inflammatory perks. They might not cure it, but adding them to your daily meals or a warm drink could offer some comfort. Always taste-test first though!

Beta, hamare ghar mein jab kisi ko saans ki takleef hoti hai, toh adrak aur tulsi ka ras shehad ke saath dete hain. Garam paani mein ajwain daal ke bhaap lena bhi aaram deta hai. Lekin yeh sab gharelu nuskhe hain, agar takleef zyada ho toh doctor ke paas zaroor jaana chahiye.

While herbs aren't a replacement for prescribed asthma medication, some like ginger, turmeric, and licorice root are known for their anti-inflammatory properties that *might* offer some symptomatic relief. However, it's really important to consult a doctor before incorporating any new herbal remedies, especially if you're on other medications, to avoid interactions.

For mild relief, I've seen people use ginger and tulsi tea, as they can help with congestion and inflammation. Some also find kalonji (nigella seeds) beneficial. But asthma is serious, if symptoms are bad or persistent, always always go to a doctor and use your prescribed inhaler. Natural remedies are for support, not a cure.
