For psoriasis itch, keeping your skin moisturized is crucial, especially after a shower. From a general health perspective, staying active and maintaining a healthy weight can help reduce inflammation in the body, which might indirectly lessen itching. Just ensure your exercise doesn't irritate the skin patches.

I just recently got my psoriasis under control, and the itch was the worst part! What gave me significant relief was my dermatologist's prescribed steroid cream for active flares and a really rich, emollient moisturizer for daily use. Also, keeping stress levels low through meditation helped me. Don't scratch, even if it feels good for a second!

Psoriasis itch can be maddening. When I consulted my dermatologist at Apollo, they emphasized cool compresses and specific medicated ointments. They also suggested avoiding very hot showers, which can worsen dryness. It's best to discuss specific anti-itch options with your doctor directly.

Beta, for skin itching, sometimes simple things can give a little relief. Neem ka tel (neem oil) is known for its properties, you can try applying a little gently. Also, keeping the skin clean and avoiding very strong soaps. But for a condition like psoriasis, it is always wise to listen to what the doctor says, these are just for comfort.

Having dealt with psoriasis for years, I can tell you that managing the itch is key. My go-to strategy involves using a prescribed topical steroid or non-steroidal cream, keeping the skin very well moisturized (especially after a lukewarm bath), and sometimes an oral antihistamine at night if the itch is disrupting sleep. Cotton clothes are your friend. And never scratch, however tempting!

Psoriasis itch sounds really uncomfortable. I'm just learning about it. Besides moisturizing, are there any specific types of clothes or fabrics that help prevent irritation? And does diet play any role in reducing the itchiness, I wonder?

Psoriasis and its itch can be incredibly frustrating and even embarrassing, leading to a lot of anxiety. Please know that your feelings are completely valid. For the itch, a good dermatologist can prescribe specific anti-itch creams or oral medications. Cold compresses can also provide temporary relief. Focus on managing stress too, as it often triggers flare-ups.

Psoriasis itch? Uff, it's like a tiny army of ants marching all over you! 😂 My friend uses some coal tar shampoos and creams, and says they help a bit. Also, she says distraction is a good technique. But ultimately, a good skin doctor is the actual MVP here, no beating around the bush.

My daughter suffers from psoriasis and the itching drives her crazy. We found that keeping her skin well-hydrated with a thick, fragrance-free moisturizer several times a day helps a lot. Also, cool showers instead of hot ones, and loose cotton clothing. Our dermatologist also prescribed some antihistamines for night itching.

Beti, psoriasis ka khujli bohot takleef deti hai, main janti hoon. Nariyal tel (coconut oil) lagane se thoda aaram milta hai, aur nahane ke baad accha moisturizer laga lo. Zyada khujlane se bachna. Aur haan, doctor ko zaroor dikhao, woh hi sahi dawa denge.

Oh, the psoriasis itch is truly maddening, I feel you! I tried so many home remedies like aloe vera, apple cider vinegar (diluted!), but honestly, the most practical solution was finding the right set of emollients and topical medications from a dermatologist. They can give you stronger anti-itch creams that actually work. Also, cotton clothes are a must.

While food won't cure psoriasis, I've seen that a diet focused on anti-inflammatory vegetarian foods can help with overall skin health and potentially reduce itching. This means lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, and avoiding processed junk. Some people find that reducing dairy or gluten also helps, but that's very individual. Always keep your doctor informed about any major diet changes.
