What helps kidney stones?

I had kidney stones a few years ago, and I really don't want to go through that pain again. I'm trying to be more careful with my diet and water intake. What helps kidney stones, like, what are the best ways to prevent them from coming back?

My doctor explained that preventing kidney stones often comes down to diet and hydration. He told me to significantly increase my water intake throughout the day. He also advised reducing sodium and animal protein, and to be mindful of calcium and oxalate-rich foods like spinach and chocolate, especially if you're prone to certain types of stones. Regular check-ups to monitor urine composition also help.

Uff, kidney stones are no joke. Felt like someone was wrestling with my insides. What helps? Mostly a good doctor and lots of water. And try to avoid those rich wedding buffets, less stress on the system, you know? My doctor also said lemon water is good. Anything to avoid that pain again, honestly.

Bro, my uncle had kidney stones, he was always chugging water. Like, seriously, nonstop. He also said he cut down on fizzy drinks and super salty snacks. Not sure if that helps everyone, but he swears by it. Plus, the doctor gave him some meds, obviously. Don't just rely on water though, see a doc.

Dekho bhai, kidney stone matlab paani piyo bhar bhar ke. Aur haan, namak kam khaana, junk food se door rehna. Agar dard ho toh seedha doctor ke paas jaao, home remedies se theek nahi hoga. Prevention ke liye lemon water aur regular check-up karana chahiye.

I'm just learning about kidney stones, it sounds quite serious. So, drinking lots of water and avoiding certain foods is helpful, right? Does lemon water really help dissolve them, or just prevent them from forming? I'm a bit confused. Any gentle tips for someone who wants to prevent them?

For kidney stones, the most important thing is a proper diagnosis to know the type and size of the stone. General advice often includes increasing water intake to help flush the system. Dietary changes are also crucial, but these should ideally be tailored by a doctor or dietician based on your specific stone composition. Always best to consult a urologist or nephrologist.
