What helps get rid of kidney stones?

My uncle suffers from recurring kidney stones and it's quite painful for him. He's had surgery before but they keep coming back. Are there any dietary changes or home remedies that can help get rid of them or prevent new ones from forming?

Kidney stones are incredibly painful, it's okay to feel overwhelmed and scared. The pain can be so debilitating, I remember feeling so helpless. While drinking lots of water and lemon juice is often suggested, please get a proper diagnosis from a urologist. They can tell you the stone size and type, which is crucial for the right treatment.

Hey, take a deep breath. Kidney stones can be scary but modern medicine has good solutions. The first step is always to get checked by a doctor to know the size and where it is. They might give you medicine to help pass it, or suggest other procedures. Just focus on following their advice and staying hydrated, okay?

Please, please, for something like kidney stones, you absolutely must get it checked by a doctor first and foremost. This isn't something to experiment with home remedies. It could be very dangerous if the stone is too large or causes complications. Go to a hospital and get a proper diagnosis.

My son had kidney stones when he was young, it was such a worrying time. We made sure he drank so much water, like constantly. The doctor also gave specific medicines to help pass the stones and advised dietary changes depending on the stone type. You really need good medical guidance for this, don't try to manage alone.

While medical treatment is primary for kidney stones, I found that gentle yoga and pranayama helped me manage the associated stress and discomfort. Also, consuming plenty of fluids, especially warm water, can support the body's natural processes. Always consult your doctor for the main treatment plan, these are just complementary.

Just like with my thyroid, kidney stone issues require consistent medical follow-up. You need to know the type of stone and its size. The doctor will likely prescribe medication, and definitely tell you to drink lots of water. Regular tests are important to monitor the situation. Don't skip your appointments.
