What helps get rid of dandruff?

My scalp has been super itchy and flaky lately, and I can see white flakes in my hair and on my shoulders. I've tried a few anti-dandruff shampoos but nothing seems to completely work. What else can help get rid of this persistent dandruff?

For dandruff, it's best to consult a dermatologist. They can identify the type of dandruff and prescribe the right medicated shampoo or treatment. Don't just pick something random. Be clear about your symptoms and ask all your questions to the doctor.

Dandruff? Ugh, it's so annoying, I totally get it. Don't stress too much though, it's super common! Try using an anti-dandruff shampoo regularly, maybe something with ketoconazole or selenium sulfide. And make sure you really massage it into your scalp, not just your hair. Give it a few weeks, yaar!

Dandruff is super common, usually caused by a fungus. Try an OTC anti-dandruff shampoo with ingredients like zinc pyrithione or selenium sulfide. Make sure to leave it on your scalp for a few minutes before rinsing. If it doesn't clear up in a month or gets worse, see a dermatologist, they can prescribe stronger stuff.

Been there, done that with all the home remedies for dandruff – curd, lemon, neem oil, everything! Some provided temporary relief, but nothing really 'got rid' of it permanently. What actually worked for me was a medicated shampoo prescribed by a dermatologist. So, while home remedies can soothe, a doctor's advice is usually more effective for stubborn cases.

Time is money, so I go for practical solutions. For dandruff, a good quality anti-dandruff shampoo used 2-3 times a week is usually effective. If it doesn't improve within a month, it's more efficient to see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and prescription rather than wasting time on remedies that might not work.

Yaar, dandruff ka toh sabko problem hota hai kabhi na kabhi. Actually, ek achha anti-dandruff shampoo hi sabse best hai. Nizoral ya Selsun Blue type ka kuch le lo. Aur make sure you wash your hair regularly, specially if you use styling products. Otherwise, doctor ko dikha do, maybe it's something else.

My grandmother always said to apply a little warm coconut oil and neem paste for dandruff, it is good for the scalp. But for persistent dandruff, I would definitely suggest seeing a skin doctor. They know the best and can give proper medicine. Sometimes it is a fungal infection, so natural remedies may not be enough.
