What helps dandruff go away?

My scalp has been super flaky lately, and it's quite embarrassing when flakes fall on my clothes. I've tried a few shampoos but nothing really works. What helps dandruff go away for good?

Dandruff can be annoying and embarrassing, especially when you're busy. For quick relief, a good anti-dandruff shampoo used regularly is key. Make sure it has active ingredients like zinc pyrithione or selenium sulfide. And don't use too much oil, it can sometimes worsen it. Consistency is important.

I've been wondering about this too! There are so many anti-dandruff shampoos out there, it's hard to know which one actually works. Is it about washing your hair more or less frequently? I'm trying to figure out the best approach.

I totally get it, dandruff can be so frustrating and make you self-conscious. It's not just an appearance thing, it can be itchy and irritating too. Don't feel bad about it, it's super common. Just focus on finding what works for your scalp, maybe a medicated shampoo could be a good start.

Uff, I tried everything for my dandruff – curd, lemon, neem paste! Some gave temporary relief, but what actually helped long-term was a proper anti-dandruff shampoo. And also making sure my scalp wasn't too oily or too dry. It's a balance. Be patient with it, and see a dermatologist if it's severe.
