What helps a toothache pain?

My tooth started paining suddenly after lunch today, and it's quite uncomfortable. I can't get an appointment with my dentist until tomorrow. Is there anything I can do at home to help with toothache pain for now?

Oh, toothache is very bad, child. For temporary relief, my mother used to say warm salt water rinse, it helps. And sometimes a little clove oil on the spot. But these are just for a while. Always, always see a good dentist quickly. They know best what is troubling the tooth.

Toothache is no joke, it can be really painful. While a warm saltwater rinse or placing a clove on the tooth might offer temporary comfort, it's really important to see a dentist immediately. These home remedies won't fix the underlying problem, which could be a cavity or infection. Be cautious and get professional help.

Beta, daant ka dard bahut takleef deta hai. Pehle toh garam pani mein namak daal ke kulli karo, thodi der araam milega. Laung (clove) ko bhi halka sa dabane se fayda hota hai. Par yeh sab temporary hai, asli ilaaj toh dant ke doctor ke paas hi milega, der mat karna.

I totally get how excruciating toothache can be, it's one of the worst pains. For temporary relief before you can see a dentist, a warm saltwater rinse can really help. Also, an over-the-counter painkiller can dull the ache a bit. But seriously, see a dentist as soon as humanly possible, it's usually a sign of something that needs fixing.

Oh no, toothache! I always panic when I get one. Does anyone else feel like a cold compress helps reduce the swelling and pain a bit? Or is it just me? And do these temporary remedies actually make it worse if you wait too long to see a dentist?
