What happens if you have a liver infection?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with some kind of liver infection, and he's feeling very weak. What exactly happens in the body when someone has a liver infection? How serious can it get if not treated quickly?

A liver infection can make you feel very weak, but it is treatable. Please consult a gastroenterologist and take proper rest.

You need to track your diet and hydration levels closely during a liver infection. Avoid any self-medication, especially painkillers, as they can put extra stress on your infected liver.

I suggest visiting a good multi-specialty hospital to get a proper ultrasound and liver function tests. Ask your doctor clearly about the cause of the infection and follow their advice.

A liver infection means saying goodbye to all your spicy samosas and oily curries for a long time! You'll feel very fatigued and might get yellow eyes, but with a doctor's pills, you'll recover soon.

Do not try random herbal powders or internet remedies for liver infections, as some of them can actually cause liver toxicity. Get a proper medical diagnosis and stick to prescribed treatments.

I panicked so much when I had elevated liver enzymes from a mild infection. But honestly, with basic antiviral medicines and a simple diet, my liver healed completely in a month.
