What glucose level is considered diabetic?

My recent blood test showed slightly high sugar levels, and I'm a bit worried. At what glucose level does a person typically get diagnosed as diabetic? I want to understand what the numbers mean.

A fasting glucose of 126 mg/dL or higher, or a post-meal level of 200 mg/dL or higher, generally points to diabetes. Along with the medicine your doctor gives, gentle Kapalbhati and a mindful diet can help bring these levels back to harmony naturally.

Usually, a fasting sugar level of 126 or above, or an HbA1c of 6.5% and above is considered diabetic. We had to monitor my teenager's levels very closely when we got the diagnosis. Please get a proper lab test done instead of just relying on home glucose monitors.

Fasting sugar above 126 is typically when doctors call it diabetes. I tried methi seeds and bitter gourd juice which helped control my borderline levels, but if your numbers are consistently high, please take the proper prescription medicine. Home remedies are only support systems.

Fasting above 126 mg/dL or random/post-meal above 200 mg/dL on two separate tests confirms diabetes. HbA1c of 6.5% or more is also diagnostic. If you see these numbers on your report, don't worry, just book an appointment with a physician to discuss the next steps.

Fasting over 126 or HbA1c over 6.5% is the diabetic range. I panicked like crazy when my random reading showed 180 after a heavy dessert, but my fasting turned out to be completely fine. Don't stress over one random reading, get a proper fasting and PP test done.

When my HbA1c hit 6.8% and fasting was 135, my doctor diagnosed me as diabetic. By strictly cutting out sugar, walking 45 minutes daily, and taking metformin for six months under my doctor's care, I managed to bring it down to pre-diabetic levels.
