What fever temperature is deadly?

My father recently had a very scary bout of high fever, and we were quite worried. It made me wonder, what exact fever temperature is considered deadly or life-threatening for an adult?

Deadly is a strong word, but a fever persistently above 104°F (40°C) is certainly a medical emergency. You should not wait. Especially if other symptoms like confusion, severe headache, or trouble breathing are also there.

This is a serious question, so it's best to always consult a doctor. But generally, fevers over 104°F (40°C) can be very dangerous for adults. Don't try to manage something that high at home, please seek medical help immediately.

Honestly, if my fever goes past 103-104 degrees, I'm heading straight to the hospital. My mom always says not to mess around with high fevers. It's not worth the risk, bro.

Yaar, actually, anything above 104°F (40°C) for adults is considered hyperpyrexia and can be quite dangerous. You absolutely must see a doctor then. Don't take it lightly.

I totally freaked out when my temp hit 103°F once, thought it was super dangerous. The doctor said it was high but manageable with meds and rest. But if it goes above 104°F, that's definitely the zone where you need to get help immediately, so don't panic but don't delay.

Anything above 104°F is a critical concern. Please see a doctor immediately for such high fevers.

For normal fevers, you can try some home remedies like cold compresses. But if the temperature goes very high, like over 104 degrees, you should definitely not delay in seeing a proper doctor. Nature helps, but serious issues need proper treatment.
