What fever temperature is dangerous for adults?

I'm not feeling well, and my thermometer shows a high reading. My wife is asking if we should go to the doctor. What fever temperature is considered dangerous for adults that would warrant a visit to the emergency?

For adults, a fever around 103°F (39.4°C) or higher is usually considered dangerous and means it's time to call the doctor! Don't wait too long if it's that high! Stay well! ✨

More than a specific number, if a fever is persistent or you feel severely unwell, it's a red flag. Hydration and light, easily digestible food are important during fever. But for dangerous temperatures, trust a doctor's advice.

Always listen to your body, dear. While high numbers are concerning, how you feel is also important. For high fevers, definitely seek medical guidance. And keep your spirits up, positive energy helps in healing.

I've dealt with high fevers for my family members multiple times. For adults, if it goes above 103°F (39.4°C) and stays there, or if there are other symptoms like confusion or severe headache, it's an emergency. Don't delay seeing a doctor.

I was just looking this up myself! Most sources say anything over 103F for adults is when you really need to be careful and probably see a doctor. Good to know this stuff.
