What essential oils are good for psoriasis and eczema?

I've been dealing with both psoriasis and eczema patches on my skin for a while, and it's quite frustrating. I heard that certain essential oils can be beneficial. Can anyone tell me which essential oils are good for psoriasis and eczema?

For skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema, my dermatologist cautioned me to be extremely careful. He said certain essential oils like chamomile and lavender, diluted heavily, *might* offer some soothing. But tea tree oil, while antibacterial, can be very irritating for sensitive skin. Always, always do a patch test and consult your skin specialist before applying anything. These conditions need careful medical management.

I've dealt with eczema for years. What I found helpful was very diluted lavender oil in a good quality, unscented moisturizer, applied very gently. Also, frankincense oil, also diluted. But never, ever apply directly or use strong ones like tea tree on irritated skin. It can make it worse. Focus on gentle skincare and managing stress too. And keep your derm in the loop.

Ugh, psoriasis and eczema are the skin's way of saying 'Surprise! More itching for you!' 😂 Honestly, I've heard chamomile and lavender are good for calming angry skin, but like, super diluted. Don't go pouring it on like it's salad dressing! And if it gets worse, please consult a skin doc, not a random internet stranger like me. Good luck with the battle!

Psoriasis and eczema are really tough. I've seen how much discomfort they can cause. I'd say focusing on overall health, managing stress, and having regular checkups for any underlying conditions is important. For temporary relief, some people try diluted calendula or helichrysum oil, known for skin soothing. But please, don't replace your doctor's prescribed treatment.

Skin issues can sometimes be linked to underlying health conditions, like thyroid problems in my case. So besides looking at essential oils, make sure you're getting regular check-ups. For eczema, diluted chamomile oil in a carrier oil can be very soothing. But start with a very small amount and see how your skin reacts. Always keep your doctor informed about what you're using.
