Our brain is so busy even when we are sleeping, amazing! It sorts out the day's memories, clears out waste products, and basically cleans up shop. For good brain health, try some soothing music before bed. But if you have serious sleep issues, a doctor is always best.

During sleep, especially deep sleep, the brain actively consolidates memories and learns new information from the day. It also cleanses itself of toxins that build up while we're awake. Practicing calming pranayama before bed helps quiet the mind for this important work.

For people like me managing diabetes, good sleep is crucial. My brain actually helps regulate hormones like insulin and ghrelin during sleep. It also repairs cells. So, if your sleep cycle is off, it can affect blood sugar levels. Avoid late-night sugary snacks for better brain rest.

My brain feels like it's never really 'off' even when I sleep. I get so many vivid dreams. Does anyone else feel like their brain is working overtime? I know it's supposed to organize memories and clear toxins, but sometimes it feels like a whole movie marathon!

My brain? When I sleep, it's probably busy dreaming about getting more sleep. Also, apparently, it cleans out all the junk from the day and tries to organize my thoughts. Which explains why my thoughts are still a mess, given my sleep schedule!
