What does vulvar eczema look like?

I've been having some persistent itching and redness around my vulva, and sometimes it looks a bit raw. I tried some home remedies, but it's not going away. Could it be eczema, and what does vulvar eczema look like?

Don't just look up pictures online and self-diagnose, yaar. For something sensitive like vulvar eczema, you absolutely need to see a dermatologist or gynaecologist. Internet pe toh sab kuch mil jaata hai but not everything is correct or applicable to your case.

I had something similar, and I thought it was just a normal rash. But it got worse and led to a secondary infection. It can look like persistent redness, itching, and sometimes even tiny bumps or cracks. Please don't self-diagnose or try home remedies, see a doctor to avoid complications.

My doctor explained it can look like red, inflamed patches, sometimes scaly or dry, and it's usually very itchy. It might even crack or ooze a bit if it's severe. She emphasized that it's important to rule out other conditions first, so a doctor's visit is essential.

From what I've seen, it often presents as really red, irritated skin, sometimes with a bit of a rash or some dryness. The main thing is the intense itching and discomfort. It's best to get it confirmed by a gynaecologist or a dermatologist, they can prescribe the right creams.
