What does the pain of appendicitis feel like?

My cousin recently had appendicitis, and she was in a lot of pain. I'm always curious about different medical conditions. What does the pain of appendicitis generally feel like, and where is it located?

Oh man, I just got over this! For me, it started as a dull ache around my belly button, then it moved to my lower right abdomen and became super sharp and constant. It got worse with movement, coughing, or even just pressing on it. Also had nausea and fever. Don't ignore it, get to the hospital immediately if you suspect it!

I'm not sure, but I've heard it's very bad. Is it usually always on the lower right side? And does it come on suddenly, or slowly get worse? I'm curious because it sounds really scary.

Appendicitis pain is no joke! 😟 It usually starts around your belly button and then moves to your lower right side, becoming super sharp and intense! It can be accompanied by nausea and fever. If you feel this, please rush to the doctor! 🏥

Appendicitis pain usually starts near the navel and then shifts to the lower right abdomen, becoming quite severe. It often needs an ultrasound or CT scan, which can be costly. If you have these symptoms, go to a government hospital or be ready for expenses, because delaying it can make things much worse and more expensive.

Appendicitis typically presents as pain that begins around the navel and then migrates to the lower right quadrant of the abdomen, becoming sharp and constant. It often worsens with movement, coughing, or deep breaths. Nausea, vomiting, and low-grade fever are common accompanying symptoms. This is a medical emergency, so seek help immediately.

Oh, appendicitis sounds like a nightmare that would ruin all my food plans! I heard it's like a really bad, sharp pain in your lower right belly that just keeps getting worse, and you can't even think about eating. Definitely not the kind of pain you can just 'eat through'!

My health apps have articles on medical emergencies. Appendicitis pain usually starts centrally, then moves to the lower right abdomen and becomes very intense. It's often sharp, worse with activity, and can be accompanied by nausea or fever. If you experience this, it's a red flag – seek urgent medical care.
