What does the bible say about sleep paralysis?

Sometimes I wake up and feel like I can't move or speak, and it's quite scary. My grandmother told me it's 'bhoot-pret ka saaya' but I think it might be sleep paralysis. I was wondering, does the Bible say anything about sleep paralysis or similar experiences?

Hmm, sleep paralysis? I don't think the Bible mentions it directly, but it talks about dreams and spiritual experiences. Maybe it's like a really weird nightmare? All I know is, if I eat a super heavy biryani right before bed, my sleep gets messed up anyway, haan!

The Bible talks about dreams and visions, and spiritual struggles, but not a clinical term like sleep paralysis. For general sleep issues, I try simple things like chamomile tea. But if you're experiencing sleep paralysis, it sounds serious enough to definitely see a doctor. Home remedies won't cut it for that.

Bhai, Bible mein sleep paralysis ka naam nahi milega. Woh religious text hai, science book nahi. Aise medical conditions ke liye doctor se baat karo. Spirituality apni jagah hai, health apni jagah. Don't mix them where proper medical help is needed.

You won't find 'sleep paralysis' explicitly mentioned in the Bible, as it's a modern medical term. However, it addresses spiritual attacks and dreams, which some might interpret in relation to such experiences. My sleep tracker often shows restless sleep if I'm stressed, which can be linked to these things. Always good to look at both angles.

That's a really interesting point to research! I'm pretty sure you won't find the exact term 'sleep paralysis' in the Bible, since it's a modern medical diagnosis. But it does discuss dreams, visions, and sometimes unsettling spiritual encounters. Maybe people interpreted sleep paralysis through that lens back then?
