What does the beginning of a fever blister look like?

I sometimes get these small bumps on my lip, and a friend said they might be fever blisters. I want to know what the very beginning of a fever blister looks like, so I can identify it early.

Oh, I totally understand that worry when something new pops up on your skin! For me, it's always this weird tingling sensation first, then a small, slightly raised red spot. It can feel a bit sensitive or itchy. Don't stress too much, but definitely keep an eye on it.

Hey! Usually for me, it starts with a tingle or itch around the lip, then a small red bump appears. Some of my apps even have image recognition for skin issues, which can be useful to quickly check what it might be. But always best to confirm with a doctor if you're unsure.

Haan, fever blisters are so annoying! My experience is usually a slight burning or itching sensation, then a small, reddish bump, almost like a tiny pimple, starts to form. I usually put a cold compress and sometimes aloe vera on it to soothe it when it first appears. Helps a bit.

From what I've seen with myself, it usually starts as a small, red, raised area that feels a bit itchy or tingly. It's not usually painful at first, but you can definitely feel something is 'off' in that spot. Everyone's body is different, so this is just my observation.

For me, it's a small red spot with a bit of a tingle, usually when I'm stressed or haven't slept well. Funny how the body tells you things. I try to ensure my immunity is good with proper diet and enough protein to fight it off quickly.

Yaar, don't ignore it like I once did with something similar. For fever blisters, it generally starts as a small, slightly red patch or bump, and then it gets tingly. If you're seeing anything like that, maybe just get a quick check from a local doctor or chemist; they can guide you better.
