What does skin cancer look like on arm?

I've noticed a strange mole on my arm that wasn't there before and it's starting to worry me. My uncle had skin cancer on his arm a few years back. Can someone tell me what skin cancer typically looks like on the arm?

On the arms, which get a lot of sun exposure, it often presents as a rough scaly patch (actinic keratosis) or a mole that is changing in size and color. Since visual identification can be tricky, getting a professional evaluation from a dermatologist is the best course of action.

Oh god, I always get so anxious checking my arms for new moles. It can look like an asymmetrical brown spot, or even a tiny, pearly pink bump that sometimes gets itchy. Please don't stress too much, but definitely go get it checked by a dermatologist.

It can look like a jagged-edged mole or a pinkish bump that won't go away. Better to get a quick checkup at a skin clinic.

It can look like a dark, irregular spot or a rough, non-healing patch on your arm. As someone managing high BP, I know how important preventive checkups are. Don't delay, just book an appointment with a skin specialist to be safe.

I literally just had a small basal cell carcinoma removed from my left forearm last month. It looked like a tiny, shiny, flesh-colored bump that I thought was a scar, but it slowly grew. Get any new or changing spot biopsied immediately.
