What does skin cancer from sunburn look like?

I spend a lot of time in the sun for my work and I've had some bad sunburns in the past. My aunt recently had a scare with skin cancer. I'm worried and want to know what skin cancer from sunburn usually looks like, just to be careful.

It often starts as a rough, scaly patch or an irregular, dark mole on areas that got sunburned. Just like we have to monitor our feet and skin closely in diabetes, you must keep an eye on any changing spots. Definitely consult a dermatologist if you see any new growth.

In my experience, sun damage can show up years later as a small pearly bump or a rough reddish patch that doesn't heal. Keep your mind calm and practice deep breathing, but do not ignore physical changes. A quick visit to a skin doctor will clarify everything.

I noticed a small, slightly pinkish dry spot on my arm that got badly sunburned last summer, and now I'm so worried. Has anyone else experienced a spot like this that turned out to be harmless? I'm planning to see a doctor this week to be safe.

At the hospital, the doctor explained that melanoma from sunburns often looks like a multi-colored mole with uneven borders. Go to a well-equipped clinical hospital and ask your dermatologist clearly to do a dermoscopy of the suspicious spot.

Actually, it doesn't always look like a scary tumor, yaar. Sometimes it's just a tiny brown spot or a rough patch that keeps peeling and bleeding. Best is to wear sunscreen daily and get any weird-looking spot checked by a derm.

Yes, it often looks like an asymmetrical mole with jagged edges or a non-healing sore. Please get a professional skin mapping done at a clinic.

Bro, it can look like an ugly, dark spot that has different shades of brown or black, or even a hard red bump. Don't try to guess by looking at Google images. Just get a dermatologist to look at it, it takes like five minutes.
