What does sij pain feel like?

Been having a dull ache in my lower back, especially near my tailbone, after long drives. My doctor did some checks and mentioned it could be related to my SIJ. I'm wondering what exactly sij pain feels like, to know if my symptoms match.

Sacroiliac joint pain feels like a dull, heavy ache right in your lower back and buttocks, which can make sitting or standing for a long time difficult. You can try applying a warm sesame oil compress or a heating pad for some relief. But if the pain goes down to your feet, please see an orthopedic doctor.

For me, SIJ pain felt like a nagging stiffness in the lower pelvic area. Along with the doctor's exercises, I make sure to eat an anti-inflammatory diet rich in turmeric, ginger, and green veggies to help reduce the joint inflammation naturally. It really supports recovery.

It feels like a sharp, one-sided ache in your buttock area that gets worse when you stand on one leg or climb stairs. Totally relatable, get a physio to check it.

Welcome to the 'getting old' club! It feels like a stubborn pain right where your back meets your hip, making you groan every time you get out of a low sofa. Don't ignore it like I did; get a doctor to suggest some exercises before you start walking like a penguin.
