What does rotator cuff pain feel like?

I've been feeling a dull ache in my shoulder, especially when I lift my arm or try to sleep on that side. My friend said it might be a rotator cuff issue. What does rotator cuff pain usually feel like?

It feels like a dull ache deep in your shoulder that makes it super hard to reach behind your back or brush your hair! Sleeping on that side becomes almost impossible too. Don't worry, a little rest and some physical therapy usually work wonders! 🌸

Bhai, jab hand upar uthate hain na, toh shoulder mein ek sharp, pinching pain hota hai. Normal shoulder pain nahi hai, aesa lagta hai muscle andar se phas gayi hai. Thoda rest do aur doctor ko dikha lo agar bohot din se hai, haan?

I have seen this in many friends who play sports or lift heavy things at home. It is a dull, persistent ache that spreads down the side of your upper arm, not just the top of the shoulder. Gentle hot water fermentation can help, but a physiotherapist can guide you best.

Welcome to the 'getting old' club, where simply sleeping wrong on your shoulder makes you feel like you fought a war! It is a deep ache that screams at you when you try to lift a water bottle. Just give it some rest and don't try to be a hero by lifting heavy objects.

Rotator cuff pain is usually felt as a deep ache in the shoulder joint that worsens when you try overhead movements, like shoulder presses in the gym. My posture app showed I was compensating by lifting my elbow, which actually made it worse. Keep an eye on your movement patterns and get it checked.
