What does poop look like with liver problems?

My chacha ji has been feeling very weak lately, and the doctor mentioned something about his liver. I've noticed some changes when he goes to the washroom, so I'm wondering if liver problems affect how poop looks. Just trying to understand better.

Actually it looks very pale, almost clay-like or light grey because the bile juice doesn't mix properly. Keep track of it for two days and if it stays like this, please go to a clinic. Normal yellow-brown color should return, otherwise it needs a checkup.

When my father had liver issues, his stool was very pale and his urine was dark like tea. We went straight to our gastroenterologist at Apollo and got it checked. Don't guess these things at home, just book an appointment with a specialist immediately.

It usually looks pale whitish or grey, and sometimes very dark black if there is bleeding. If you are planning a doctor visit, get an LFT and ultrasound bill estimate first. Some labs give 20% discount online, so compare prices before booking.

Honestly, don't waste time looking at pictures online or trying home detox remedies for this. Pale or black stool can mean many serious things or sometimes just something you ate. Go to a proper doctor and get your blood work done to know the truth.

I have heard from friends that pale or clay-colored stool is a common sign. I always try to be very careful with internal symptoms because everything is so interconnected. It is best not to self-diagnose and just consult a doctor to be safe.
