What does pancreatitis pain feel like?

I recently had an episode of severe abdominal pain and was told it might be pancreatitis. I'm trying to understand if what I felt was typical. What does pancreatitis pain usually feel like? Is it always very intense and in a specific area?

It feels like a severe, boring pain in your upper abdomen that goes straight through to your back, and it gets much worse after eating. When I was admitted, the doctors at the hospital explained that it can become dangerous quickly. Please go to a good hospital and ask the doctor to run amylase and lipase tests.

Beta, pancreatitis pain is a very sharp, unbearable burning in the top of the stomach, and it feels like a needle piercing through to your back. Do not try to treat this at home with ginger water or soda. You must go straight to a doctor, as this requires proper hospital treatment.

Pancreatitis pain is typically described as an acute, severe ache in the epigastric region that radiates to the back, often accompanied by vomiting and fever. Leaning forward sometimes provides temporary, mild relief. Since it can escalate, getting immediate clinical evaluation and doctor's advice is the safest path.

Haan, this pain is no joke, na! It starts right below your ribs in the middle of your stomach and feels like a heavy, constant squeezing that goes all the way to your back. If you are also feeling nauseous, please don't wait for it to go away on its own, just visit a doctor immediately.

It feels like a tiny boxer is punching you from the inside of your upper belly straight through to your spine, especially after you eat a heavy meal! If you are feeling that level of drama in your stomach, it's definitely time to skip the home remedies and let a doctor handle the situation.
