What does pancreatic cancer feel like?

A relative of mine is going through pancreatic cancer treatment, and I want to be more aware of the symptoms they might be experiencing. What does pancreatic cancer feel like for those affected? What kind of discomfort or pain is common?

Honestly, I can barely keep my eyes open, but health anxiety keeps me up. They say it feels like a constant, nagging upper belly pain that wraps around to your back, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. If you have this along with zero appetite and yellowing skin, please stop reading late-night threads and see a doctor.

For many, the first sign is a complete loss of appetite where even your favorite biryani or sweets start looking unappealing. It often comes with a dull, persistent pain in the upper stomach that goes to the back and unexplained weight loss. If food doesn't taste good and you feel constant belly discomfort, do get checked.

Actually, it is known as a silent disease because early on you might just feel a bit bloated or have mild backache, yaar. But as it progresses, it feels like a deep, persistent upper stomach pain that worsens after eating, along with sudden weight loss and yellowing of the skin. Definitely get a doctor's opinion.

In practical terms, it often presents as unexplained mid-back pain, sudden onset of diabetes, pale fatty stools, and a yellow tint in the eyes or skin. It's a progressive discomfort, not a sudden sharp spasm. If you or a family member notice these signs together, please schedule an ultrasound and liver function tests.

It typically feels like a dull, deep pain in the upper abdomen that radiates to the back, accompanied by sudden weight loss, nausea, and yellowing of the skin.

Having gone through the diagnosis and surgery, for me it started with a constant, boring pain in the upper abdomen that shot to my back, and my urine turned very dark. I also completely lost my appetite and felt extremely fatigued. Early detection saved my life, so please get scanned if you have these symptoms.
