What does menopause joint pain feel like?

My friends talk about joint pain during menopause, and I'm starting to experience it too. My knees and fingers are getting stiff. Can someone describe what menopause joint pain feels like?

Beta, it feels like all the strength from your knees and wrists has gone. In the morning, my fingers would feel so stiff that I couldn't even hold the tea strainer properly. It is just a phase of life, feed your body good ghee and milk.

For me, the joint pain was accompanied by hot flashes and sleeplessness. My shoulders and knees would ache constantly, making me feel much older than I was. I simply focused on improving my diet and took warm water baths before sleeping, which helped me cope.

I was suffering from terrible knee and ankle pain for the last six months due to perimenopause. Honestly, starting calcium supplements and daily 20-minute walks changed everything for me. The pain has reduced by 80% now, so please don't lose hope.

I got so worried when my elbow and finger joints started aching, thinking it was rheumatoid arthritis. It turned out to be just menopause-related joint pain, but the anxiety made it feel twice as bad. Please talk to a doctor to ease your mind, it helps so much.

Actually, it feels like your joints are completely dry, yaar. You wake up feeling like a 90-year-old with stiff knees and back. I had to start taking bone health seriously and cut down on sugar, which actually made a big difference in the inflammation.

It feels like your body is protesting every move! You creak when you sit, and you groan when you stand up. Just think of it as your joints asking for a little extra oil and attention—keep moving and don't let the stiffness win!

My mother was dealing with terrible joint pain last year during her menopause. She described it as a constant soreness in her knees and lower back that made daily chores hard. I helped her set up a regular routine with a physiotherapist, and she is feeling much better now.
