What does lymphoma back pain feel like?

My cousin has been diagnosed with lymphoma and complains about back pain that's different from his usual aches. We're trying to understand if it's a symptom. What does lymphoma back pain typically feel like for patients?

I was just reading about this online because my lower back has been hurting lately. From what I gathered, lymphoma back pain can happen if swollen lymph nodes in the abdomen press against the nerves or spine. It is usually described as a deep, persistent ache that doesn't get better with rest or changing positions.

In our days, we would apply warm mustard oil or try simple herbal poultices for any backache. But if the pain is deep inside, constant, and comes with night sweats, unexplained weight loss, or swelling in the neck or armpits, these simple remedies will not work. You must go to a proper hospital and get a thorough checkup done.

While gentle stretching or a warm compress can soothe normal muscle stiffness, back pain from lymphoma is different. It is a deep, persistent pain that is often accompanied by swollen glands, fever, or feeling very tired. If you notice these red flags, please skip the home treatments and see an oncologist or general physician immediately.

I am a bit hesitant to ask, but my brother has had a dull backache along with slight fever in the evenings. Does lymphoma back pain usually get worse at night, and are there always visible swellings on the body, or can it happen without them too?

Actually, lymphoma back pain is not like your regular gym or desk job backache, yaar. It is a constant, deep ache that doesn't go away even if you lie down. If you also have fever or sudden weight loss, don't ignore it and get a proper medical checkup done soon.
