What does liver inflammation feel like?

I've been feeling a dull ache in my upper right abdomen for a few weeks now, and I'm a bit concerned it might be my liver. What does liver inflammation typically feel like? Is it constant or does it come and go?

With my busy schedule, I almost ignored liver inflammation last year; it felt like a constant dull ache in my upper right stomach, coupled with heavy afternoon fatigue and mild nausea. Don't waste time trying to wait it out or self-diagnose. Just take half a day off, get your LFT and ultrasound done, and show it to a doctor.

An inflamed liver makes the stomach feel very heavy and full, and you might lose your taste for food. Drinking warm water with a little turmeric or fresh amla juice is very soothing for the digestive system. However, if the pain is sharp or you feel very sick, please go to a doctor for a proper checkup.

When my liver was inflamed, it felt like a heavy discomfort on my right side and I completely lost my appetite for all my favorite spicy curries and biryanis. It was so sad! If you are feeling bloated and nauseous, take a break from rich foods, eat simple curd rice, and definitely consult a doctor.

Actually, liver inflammation feels like a weird, heavy pressure under your right ribs, yaar. You also feel so sluggish and bloated all the time, even if you eat something really light. If this is happening to you, just book an LFT test on an app and consult a doctor.

It literally feels like your liver has ballooned up and is complaining about all the spicy street food you ate! You'll feel bloated, lazy, and slightly nauseous. Don't worry, just stop eating like a teenager for a few days and get a quick doctor's appointment to sort it out!

It feels like a deep, dull ache on the upper right side of your core, and you might find your energy levels dropping during workouts. While cutting out alcohol and processed food is great for recovery, you still need to see a doctor to get a proper diagnosis. Rest up and focus on clean nutrition.

I had this during my exams and honestly, it felt like a weird, heavy bloating under my right ribs and I just couldn't eat my hostel food at all. I thought it was just exam stress but my mom made me go to a doc who diagnosed mild swelling. Totally recommend getting a quick blood test done.

When my liver was inflamed, my doctor explained that the liver capsule stretches, which causes a dull, persistent pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen. It is also commonly accompanied by elevated liver enzymes (SGOT/SGPT), mild nausea, and a loss of appetite. It is crucial to get a proper blood panel and ultrasound to identify the underlying cause.
