What does liver break down?

Just curious about how our body works, especially the internal organs. What exactly does the liver break down in our system? I know it's important, but want to understand its main functions.

The liver basically breaks down everything you consume, from fatty foods to toxins like alcohol and even your daily medicines. I used to ignore minor digestion issues thinking it's just gas, but later realized how hard my liver was struggling. Please don't take your digestion or fatigue lightly, get a routine LFT blood test done just to be safe.

Our liver is a beautiful organ that tirelessly cleanses our temple of a body, breaking down food, old cells, and any impurities we consume. Just keep a calm mind, drink plenty of water, and stay positive while eating fresh, simple food. Taking care of your mental peace actually helps your physical body function so much better.

From what my doctor explained during my last health checkup, the liver breaks down fats, filters out waste, and processes proteins we eat. I don't know the exact science behind it, but keeping my diet simple really helped my liver enzymes return to normal. Honestly, it's best to talk to a proper dietician or doctor if you want to understand your own body's needs.

Don't blindly believe those random WhatsApp forwards and internet articles saying specific juices will magically flush liver toxins. The liver naturally breaks down fats, toxins, and old red blood cells on its own without any fancy detox diets. If you feel something is wrong with your digestion, skip the home remedies and go get an ultrasound or LFT done first.

Our elders always say that the liver breaks down heavy oily foods and excess heat in the body, which is why my grandmother used to give us warm buttermilk with ginger. While those traditional tips are very soothing, my doctor explained that it also filters toxins and medicines chemically. It is always best to consult a general physician if you are worried about liver health.

When my son was diagnosed with a fatty liver issue last year, the pediatrician told us how the liver breaks down fats and sugars to give the body energy. We had to completely cut out processed snacks and sodas from his diet to reduce the load on his liver. Just focus on simple, fresh homemade meals and keep your family active, it makes a huge difference.
