What does left arm heart attack pain feel like?

My neighbor recently had a heart attack and he mentioned feeling pain in his left arm. I'm worried about my own health. What does left arm heart attack pain actually feel like? Is it a sharp pain or something else?

Bhai, left arm pain agar dhire dhire shoulder aur jaw tak ja raha hai, aur chest mein bhari-pan lag raha hai, toh bilkul light mat lo na. Haan, agar pressure aur sweating bhi ho rahi hai, toh turant doctor ke paas jao bina der kiye.

I had a sudden sharp pain in my left arm last month and totally panicked thinking it was a heart attack. It turned out to be just a muscle pull from sleeping awkwardly, but the doctor said a real heart attack pain is a heavy, squeezing feeling, not a sharp pinch. Still, getting checked is always safe.

Do not waste time reading opinions on forums if you or someone near you has left arm pain along with chest tightness, sweating, or breathlessness. This is a medical emergency, go to the nearest hospital casualty ward right away.

I was just reading about this online today. Apparently, it doesn't always have to be a sharp pain; it feels like a dull, heavy ache or numbness that starts in the chest and radiates down the left arm, sometimes accompanied by sweating.

It is usually described as a crushing pressure or squeezing feeling that spreads from the chest to the left arm! 😮 Please don't ignore it if you also feel dizzy or short of breath—safety first always! 🙏

It feels like a very heavy, squeezing pain, not just a simple muscle twitch. If anyone in your house experiences this along with sweating, don't wait for home remedies—keep a Sorbitrate tablet or aspirin handy and call an ambulance immediately.
