What does hemorrhoid pain feel like?

Been dealing with some discomfort for a while, and my friend mentioned it could be hemorrhoids. What does hemorrhoid pain feel like? Is it sharp or dull, and where exactly is it located?

From what I have read, it is a very sharp, pinching or throbbing pain during bowel movements, often with swelling. It is always best to discuss this with a general surgeon to get the correct diagnosis instead of guessing.

Actually yaar, it is extremely painful and itchy, like you are sitting on small needles. Sitting down becomes a huge task. Honestly, don't feel shy and just show a doctor before it gets worse.

It feels like a constant, uncomfortable pressure or burning sensation that gets worse when you sit for long hours. Increasing fiber intake and logging 3 liters of water on my tracker really helped keep things smooth for me.

For me, it was a sharp, throbbing pain that would bleed sometimes when I was constipated. It was very uncomfortable to sit at my office desk all day, so I finally had to visit a clinic for proper treatment.

It feels like a constant, heavy burning that makes you feel miserable and so anxious every time you have to use the washroom. Please know you are not alone in this; it is a very common issue, so please don't suffer in silence and see a doctor.

It is basically this really irritating, sharp pain and swelling that makes sitting down so uncomfortable. Adding lots of green veggies to your diet helps keep the stool soft, which reduces the friction and pain.

It feels like a sharp, burning ache that makes passing stool very difficult. A warm sitz bath in a tub of water helped me get a lot of relief, along with drinking plenty of warm water throughout the day.
