What does gastritis pain feel like?

I've been diagnosed with gastritis recently, and I'm still trying to understand the symptoms. The doctor explained it a bit, but I wanted to know from others. What does gastritis pain usually feel like?

For me, gastritis feels like a constant, burning heat right in the upper pit of my stomach, especially when it is empty. I cannot advise on any treatments, but eating very bland meals like khichdi and cold milk helped me manage my personal discomfort during those days.

My doctor told me that gastritis is actually the inflammation of the stomach lining, which causes a gnawing, aching pain or even nausea. He advised me to avoid spicy foods, caffeine, and painkillers on an empty stomach because they irritate the lining further. It is best to get a proper prescription to heal the stomach wall.

Haan na, that burning sensation in the stomach is so irritating! It feels like a hot wave is rising up to your throat, and even water feels heavy sometimes. Thoda simple food khana chahiye when this happens, otherwise it just gets worse.

Don't stress, it is a very common issue but you shouldn't let it linger. It usually feels like a sour, hot discomfort right below your ribs. Just avoid outside food for a few days, drink lots of water, and if it still hurts, let's get you checked by a doc, okay?

Honestly, it feels like your stomach is churning on empty fuel and there is a dull, constant ache. I get it whenever my sleep schedule is messy and I drink too much black coffee. Cutting down caffeine and sleeping on time really helps settle it down.

My daughter used to get this sharp ache and feel nauseous early in the morning before school. We realized she was skipping breakfast, which made the stomach acids build up. We started giving her small, frequent meals and it made a huge difference to her gut.
