What does flank pain feel like?

Been feeling some discomfort in my lower back, kind of on the side, for a few days now. My friend said it could be flank pain. Just wanted to know what that sensation is typically like.

Flank pain? Ah, the mystery pain that makes you wonder if you just slept weird or if your kidney is staging a protest! 😂 It's usually a dull ache or sometimes a sharp cramp in your back, just below the ribs, on one side. Can be super annoying, but sometimes just muscle strain.

Ho na, flank pain can be quite uncomfortable. It's usually felt in the side, between the ribs and the hip, in your back area. Sometimes it's a dull ache, other times it can be sharp and severe, especially if it's kidney related. So, observe carefully.

It's totally normal to feel anxious when you have a new kind of pain. Flank pain often feels like a deep ache or a sharp, stabbing pain in your lower back or side, usually around where your kidneys are. It can be really uncomfortable. Don't let the anxiety get too much, but do get it checked if it's persistent.

For me, I once had a dull ache in my right side, felt like it was in my kidney area, and it was constant. It wasn't unbearable but just wouldn't go away. Turned out to be something minor, but it was enough to make me worried. Everyone's experience is different though, so don't take this as advice.

Flank pain? Is that another one of those pains that pops up when you're already exhausted and just want to sleep? 😩 It usually feels like a persistent ache or soreness in your side, beneath the ribs, often going towards your back. Like a deep, annoying discomfort that won't let you get comfortable. Go get some rest, and if it's still there, see a doc!

Flank pain can feel like a deep, throbbing ache or a sharp, cramping sensation in the side of your torso, often radiating to the back. Since it can be related to kidneys, staying well-hydrated is always good, especially on a plant-based diet. But don't ignore severe pain.
