What does fibroid leg pain feel like?

I have fibroids, and recently I've started getting this persistent, heavy ache down my legs, especially my calves. I'm wondering if it's related to the fibroids. What does fibroid leg pain feel like?

Fibroids can press on nerves, right? So the leg pain from fibroids might feel like a dull ache, numbness, or even a shooting pain down the leg, similar to sciatica. It's not usually muscle strain from a workout. If you're experiencing this, it's important to differentiate and see a doctor, so you can manage it properly.

Oh, I totally get this! For me, it was a persistent, heavy ache deep in my thighs and sometimes radiating down to my calves. It felt like my legs were constantly tired and heavy, and sometimes I'd get sharp, shooting pains, especially when walking a lot. It was due to the fibroids pressing on my nerves. Getting them treated made a huge difference.

From what I've heard, fibroid leg pain can be a persistent, nagging ache or even sharp, sciatic-like pain if the fibroids are pressing on nerves. It's not something to ignore, as it can severely impact daily routine. Best to get a quick consult with a gynecologist to understand the cause and manage it effectively.

While I manage diabetes, I've learned that symptoms like leg pain can have many causes, and with fibroids, it's often due to pressure. It can feel like a heavy or aching sensation. It's important to rule out other causes and get a proper diagnosis from a doctor, as self-diagnosis is not good for such serious health matters.
