What does endometriosis pain feel like?

My periods have become incredibly painful recently, like a sharp, constant ache that doesn't go away with painkillers. My gynae mentioned endometriosis as a possibility. What does endometriosis pain actually feel like, is it different from normal period cramps?

Oh, endometriosis pain! From what I hear, it's not like your usual period cramp that a hot chocolate can fix. People describe it as deep, stabbing, constant pain in the pelvis, sometimes radiating to the back or legs. Sounds like it would totally kill your appetite, which is a major problem for a foodie like me! If you're feeling this, please see a gynaecologist.

My niece had this, beti. Endometriosis pain is usually very bad, much more than normal period pain. It's a deep, constant pain in the lower stomach, sometimes even during intercourse or when going to the washroom. For mild pains, a hot water bag helps, but this kind of severe pain needs a good lady doctor, not just home remedies.

It's often described as a very severe, chronic pelvic pain, much worse than typical period cramps. It can be deep, stabbing, and even radiate to the back or legs. It's a challenging condition.

Endometriosis pain is no joke, it's debilitating. For me, it felt like a constant, deep, burning ache in my lower abdomen, sharp shooting pains during periods, and even pain during bowel movements. I had ignored it for too long, which led to complications. Please, if you suspect this, see a gynecologist immediately. Don't wait like I did.
