What does dull pain feel like?

I've been having this persistent, kind of constant ache in my back for a few days. It's not sharp, but it's always there. I'm trying to describe it to my doctor, so what does dull pain feel like to others?

My doctor explained that dull pain is a type of somatic pain, usually characterized by a constant, aching, or throbbing sensation that's not localized to a very specific point. It's less intense than sharp pain but more pervasive, like a deep pressure. It often indicates inflammation or muscle soreness rather than nerve damage. It's generally tolerable but can be very irritating.

Dull pain is usually a persistent, low-level ache that isn't sharp but is constantly there, making you feel uncomfortable. It can be hard to ignore. Hope you're not experiencing anything like that.

Hey! Dull pain is like that annoying background noise you can't quite switch off. It's not super intense, but it's just *there*, a constant ache or pressure. It can make you feel tired and cranky, but usually not something to stress too much about unless it gets worse or doesn't go away for a long time, okay?

Dude, dull pain? It's like, not a sharp stab, but more like a constant, annoying ache. Like when you work out too much and your muscles just feel heavy and sore for days. Or like a headache that's not pounding but just 'there' all the time. Annoying, but usually not too serious right away.

A dull pain is like a persistent ache, not sharp or stabbing, but just a constant discomfort. It's important to differentiate it from other types of pain. Don't rely on random internet descriptions for diagnosis. If you're having persistent dull pain, please consult a medical professional to understand the cause. They can properly assess it.

I track all my fitness data, and I've noted that post-workout, I often feel a 'dull pain' which is actually muscle soreness, like a heavy, aching sensation. It's not sharp or crippling, just a constant, low-level discomfort. My apps suggest it's normal for muscle recovery. If it's not from exercise and persists, probably worth checking with a doctor.

Dull pain feels like a constant, heavy ache, not sharp like a cut, but more like a persistent pressure or soreness. For minor dull aches, I sometimes use a warm compress or some herbal balms. But if it's severe, doesn't go away, or comes with other symptoms, please see a doctor. You can't just fix everything with home remedies.
