What does befast stand for in stroke?

My elderly mother lives alone, and I want to make sure she knows what to do in case of an emergency like a stroke. I heard about the BEFAST acronym. What does each letter in BEFAST stand for in stroke awareness?

Namaste! BEFAST toh bahut zaroori hai stroke ke liye. B matlab Balance ka loss, E matlab Eyesight change. Fir FAST toh aapko pata hi hai, F for Face drooping, A for Arm weakness, S for Speech difficulty, aur T for Time to call ambulance. Yeh sab jaan na bahut achha hai.

Beta, BEFAST is a very important acronym to remember for stroke. B stands for balance issues, and E for eye vision changes. Then, F is for facial drooping, A for arm weakness, S for speech difficulty, and T for time to call for help. It's about recognizing the signs quickly. No home remedy can help with a stroke; immediate hospitalisation is crucial.

Oh, another acronym to remember? My brain cells are already having a party without me. But BEFAST is super important! B for Balance loss, E for Eyesight changes. And the usual FAST: Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, and T for TIME to call that ambulance! Basically, your body gives warning signals, so don't ignore them, unlike my husband ignoring my diet advice, ha!

BEFAST is a very clever way to remember stroke symptoms, especially for us older folks. It means 'Balance lost,' 'Eyesight changes,' 'Face drooping,' 'Arm weakness,' 'Speech difficulty,' and 'Time to call emergency.' My neighbor had a stroke, and remembering these signs quickly made a big difference. Always be vigilant.

Yo, BEFAST is like the emergency cheat code for strokes! B is for balance issues, E is for eyesight problems. Then FAST is Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, and T is for Time to call 108! It's actually super helpful to know these in case anyone around you has a stroke, time is brain, literally.
