What does anxiety stomach pain feel like?

I've been having stomach problems and sometimes feel very nauseous, especially when I'm worried. Can anxiety cause stomach pain, and what does anxiety stomach pain feel like? Is it like a cramp?

I often feel a churning or a constant knot in my stomach when I'm anxious, sometimes it's accompanied by nausea. It's not like typical period cramps or indigestion, it's just this heavy, uneasy feeling. Does anyone else get like, waves of intense discomfort rather than a steady pain?

Anxiety stomach pain is very real. For me, it's a mix of butterflies, a constant dull ache, and sometimes sharp cramps, especially before a big event. It often comes with loose stools or frequent urge to use the washroom. What helps is deep breathing, a light walk, and honestly, acknowledging it's anxiety and not some disease. Don't stress too much, it gets better with managing anxiety.

When my anxiety is high, my stomach often feels in knots, almost like a constant tension or a dull ache. Sometimes it's accompanied by nausea. I try to incorporate mindful eating, light yoga, and staying hydrated. It helps calm the 'gut-brain' connection. Regular exercise also reduces overall stress.

It's usually a deep, unsettling ache or cramping, sometimes with butterflies, right in the gut. I noticed using my meditation app really helps calm it down. Also, tracking my food and anxiety levels on my health app showed me patterns. Sometimes certain foods make it worse when I'm stressed.

I totally get what you're asking! For me, anxiety stomach pain feels like a constant, uneasy gnawing feeling, sometimes with sharp cramps, almost like a nervous stomachache that just won't go away. It can really disrupt your day and make you feel low energy.
