I'm new to understanding anxiety and its physical effects. Does anxiety back pain feel like a constant tension, or more like spasms? I'm trying to figure out if what I feel sometimes could be related to stress.
For me, it's like a constant tightness, especially in my upper back and shoulders, almost like my muscles are always braced. Regular stretching and short walks, especially in nature, really help. Of course, check with your physio or doc first to rule out any structural issues!
It's often a persistent, dull ache or tension. Very real, even if anxiety-driven.
Haha, it feels like my back muscles are trying to do a permanent crunch, even when I'm just sitting! 😂 It's mostly a tight, stiff feeling that radiates from my neck down. Sometimes a warm bath helps a bit! ✨
I experience it as a persistent, low-level ache or muscle stiffness in my lower back, almost like I've done a heavy workout without actually doing one. I focus on good posture, core strengthening, and staying hydrated. It definitely helps alleviate some of that tension.

Ugh, this is so relatable! For me, it's often a gnawing, deep ache in my mid-back, sometimes radiating to my shoulders. It feels like a constant knot. And then I start worrying if it's something worse, which makes the anxiety (and the pain) even worse! It's a terrible cycle.
I find that when my anxiety is high, my back tenses up, creating a dull, constant ache. Eating a balanced, anti-inflammatory vegetarian diet, rich in magnesium (like leafy greens and nuts), helps me manage both anxiety and muscle tension. Avoid processed foods, they can worsen inflammation.
