What does a vestibular migraine feel like?

I've been having these intense dizziness spells, sometimes with headaches. My friend said it sounds like a 'vestibular migraine'. What exactly does a vestibular migraine feel like, is it different from a regular headache?

A vestibular migraine is super disorienting, not just a headache. It feels like the room is spinning (vertigo), you might feel dizzy, unbalanced, or even nauseous, often without the typical head pain of a regular migraine. It's a real disruption to daily life and any kind of exercise. Doctor consultation is essential; then, very gentle, doctor-approved movements might help recovery.

A vestibular migraine usually involves severe dizziness, vertigo, and balance problems, sometimes with or without the headache. My doctor mentioned it can make you feel motion sick or disoriented. It's important to trust the doctor's advice for diagnosis and treatment, as these symptoms can be very debilitating.

Oh, a vestibular migraine sounds like it would ruin all my food plans! From what I know, it's less about the head thumping and more about feeling super dizzy and off-balance, like the world is doing a dance without you. Eating your favorite comfort food is probably the last thing you'd want to do then. Horrible feeling, best to get help.

My neighbour suffered from this. She used to say it felt like the world was constantly moving around her, even when she was still. The dizziness was so bad she couldn't walk straight. Sometimes she felt very sick to her stomach too. It's not just a bad headache, it's a whole body experience, so don't take it lightly.

It's different from a regular migraine; the main symptoms are usually vertigo, dizziness, and imbalance, rather than just head pain. You might feel like you're rocking or spinning, even when sitting still. Using a symptom tracker in a health app can be really helpful for identifying patterns and discussing with your doctor.

Vestibular migraines sound really tough, more about dizziness and balance issues than just head pain. These things need proper diagnosis, so don't delay seeing a neurologist. Planning your visits efficiently and asking about public health schemes or generic medicines can help manage costs. Early diagnosis can save a lot in the long run.
