What does a silent heart attack feel like?

My father passed away suddenly last year, and the doctor said it might have been a silent heart attack. I'm worried about my own health now. What exactly does a silent heart attack feel like, so I know what to look out for?

Honestly, a silent heart attack is tricky because it doesn't always have classic symptoms like severe chest pain. Sometimes it's just mild discomfort, feeling tired, or even indigestion. That's why regular check-ups are so important, especially as you get older.

It’s so scary, right? I heard it can feel like just a bad heartburn or some unexplained arm pain. My friend's aunt had one and she just thought she was overtired. It's really hard to tell, so if anything feels off, it's best to consult a doc, even for small things.

My fitness app has articles about this, and it says symptoms can be really vague – like unusual fatigue, shortness of breath, or discomfort in the jaw/back. If your tracker shows unusual heart rate patterns or sleep issues consistently, maybe get it checked. Tech helps but a doctor is key.

It can be very subtle, often just feeling unwell or like a bad ache. It's truly a silent killer sometimes.

My mother always tells us to pay attention to our body, even if it's just a slight tiredness. For silent heart attack, I heard it can be just a general feeling of unease or slight pain that comes and goes. So, if you feel anything persistent or odd, please see a doctor. Trust your instincts, but trust the doctor more.
