What does a migraine attack feel like?

I get these terrible headaches sometimes, they are so severe that I can barely function. My doctor thinks they might be migraines. What does a migraine attack typically feel like? Is it just a very bad headache, or something more?

Honestly, I ignored my headaches for so long, thinking it was just stress. But when it became a migraine, the throbbing, sensitivity to light and sound was unbearable. Don't be like me, if you suspect it, please get it checked by a doc soon, early diagnosis helps a lot.

It's not just a headache, it's a full-body assault. My head feels like it's going to burst, and even the smell of food makes me sick. I've found certain foods like aged cheese or some processed items can trigger it, so I try to stick to a clean, fresh vegetarian diet, it helps slightly.

For me, a migraine is like someone hammering inside my head, especially behind one eye. Along with that, there's nausea and you just want to lie down in a dark, quiet room. Keeping a diary of what triggers it (foods, stress) can sometimes help manage it a bit.

It's a tough experience, a migraine. The pain can be so intense, truly debilitating. Just remember to be kind to your body when it's going through such an ordeal. Rest, take care of yourself, and keep a positive outlook, even through the pain, it helps in recovery.

Oh baba, migraine? It's terrible, ho na. Mera toh adha sir bohot dukhta hai, aur light bhi bardash nahi hoti. Sometimes feels like my eyes are throbbing. Just want to sleep it off in a dark room. It's not just a 'sir dard' simple.

Bete, migraine used to be very bad for me in my younger days. The pain was like a vise grip, throbbing on one side. All you want is quiet. It's a difficult thing to live with, but over time, one learns to manage it, sometimes it lessens with age also. Don't lose hope.
