What does a high fever feel like?

I think I might be coming down with something, feeling very feverish. I'm trying to decide if it's just a normal fever or something more. What does a high fever feel like, especially compared to a normal one?

I totally get it, having a high fever is absolutely miserable and exhausting. It feels like your body is burning up while you shiver uncontrollably, along with a severe headache and heavy body aches. If the temperature is very high or doesn't come down, please visit a doctor immediately.

I once ignored a high fever thinking it was just a normal viral cold, and it turned into severe pneumonia. A high fever feels like heavy burning, shivering, and extreme weakness. Please do not wait around or ignore it, and see a doctor for a proper checkup immediately.

A high fever feels like intense body heat, severe shivering, and a throbbing headache. Make sure to keep sponge-bathing with normal water and consult a doctor if the fever crosses 102 degrees.

It feels like you are wrapped in a hot blanket while sitting in a freezer, with a super heavy head and tired eyes! 🤒 Make sure to drink lots of water and coconut water to stay hydrated. If it doesn't get better in a day, please check in with a doctor!

A high fever feels like extreme lethargy, severe body aches, shivering, and dehydration. My doctor colleague advised that a temperature above 103F in adults can be dangerous if left unmanaged. It is highly recommended to seek medical attention to find the underlying cause.

It feels like an intense fire inside the body, making you feel weak, dizzy, and cold at the same time. Deep, gentle breathing can help calm your mind, but a high fever requires rest and proper medical evaluation. Please see a doctor if the temperature remains high.

It feels like your body is boiling, you get severe chills, and you can barely stand up. Instead of letting it worsen and paying for expensive emergency visits, it is cheaper to consult a local doctor early and get a basic blood test. Please visit a clinic if it lasts more than two days.
